Shropshire's Apedale, Corvedale and the lower part of the Teme Valley provide a distinctively different area to cycle. Dominated by the Clee Hills - but you don't have to cycle over them, just round them. This tour has been designed especially for people with limited spare time who are looking for a weekend to relax and get out into the countryside. This area is easily accessible, the countryside is beautiful and the cycling is wonderful. There are two alternative routes for this weekend tour – both easy riding and similar in distance.

Day 1: Overnight in Ludlow area.
Day 2: Cycle to Clun or Presteigne or Dilwyn, 15 or 20 miles (24 or 32 km).
One route takes you to the charming border village of Clun – with three traditional inns, a teashop and a castle. The route follows the unspoilt river valleys of the Teme, Clun and Redlake leading up into the beautiful Clun Hills. The other route is a magical route following the river Lugg along quiet country lanes from England into Wales to the historic and unspoilt town of Presteigne. The Judges’ Lodging Museum comes highly recommended by all our customers.
Day 3: Clun or Presteigne to Teme Valley, 18 or 20 miles (29 or 32 km).
Brings you back to the starting point for your onward journey home.
