We think this area of Shropshire offers some of the best cycling in Europe. River valleys, cutting through spectacular hills, dominated by ruined castles. This really is unspoilt countryside; cars take second place to tractors, sheep and cyclists.This route enjoys spectacular views taking you off-road across the hills and ancient trackway of the Kerry Ridgeway and Offa's Dyke.
Day 1: Arrival in Teme Valley and cycle to Clun, 20 miles (32 km).
Takes you to Clun, described by A.E Housman as "the quietest place under the sun".
Day 2: Clun to Bishop's Castle, 24 miles (38 km).
Takes you to the Border town of Bishop's Castle. Bishop's Castle has two unique award-winning brewery pubs and a very good reputation for food.
Day 3: Bishop's Castle to Teme Valley, 20 miles (32 km).
Brings you back to the starting point for your onward journey home.
