Daily Itinerary
 

Day 1: Arrive in Bayeux

Possibility to admire the amazing 11th century Bayeux Tapestry showing the conquest of England by William Duke of Normandy.

Day 2: Circuit around Landing Beaches, 34 miles (55km)

A circular ride to the landing beaches including Omaha beach with possibility to continue to the ‘Pointe du Hoc’. Then follow country lanes through typical small villages such as Colleville sur Mer and Port en Bessin before reaching Bayeux.

Day 3: Bayeux to Caen, 37 miles (60km)

Cycling to Arromanches where you can still see remains of the temporary artificial “Mulberry” harbour. Proceed along the coast to Courseulles sur Mer and then inland to reach the quaint town of Caen.

Day 4: Caen to Cabourg, 19 miles (30km)

Leaving Caen you cross the Pegasus bridge. Enjoy a peaceful ride to the resort town of Cabourg on the Côte Fleurie, where Marcel Proust found the inspiration for one of his novels.

Cycling in France - HonfleurDay 5: Cabourg to Honfleur, 31 miles (50km)

Riding inland you pass Beaumont en Auge, a village with coloured, half-timbered cottages, before reaching Deauville. Then it’s along the coast to reach Honfleur with its colourful harbour, the inspiration for many artists' works.

Day 6: Departure from Honfleur
